Interview Video Link From Interviewing my sister, I gained much insight into the process students undergo in an ESL program. I found it very interesting to learn about the different methods her teachers would use to help their students with the learning process. As stated in the video, her teachers would incorporate visuals, turn-and-talks, playing games, and partner work, and what I really enjoyed was hearing about how working with her partner helped her feel more confident in practicing her English. From my sister's responses, it was made clear to me that her ESL teachers were ensuring students were gaining comprehensible input throughout their learning. As stated in Wright's chapter 3, "People acquire a second language only if they obtain comprehensible input and if their affective filters are low enough to allow the input in."
